In every arte Hotel, we give creative, young or up-and-coming artists a stage: our artist’s place event series moves between all art forms, in a finely dosed irregularity and always relaxed atmosphere!
On 15 March 2023, we brought the artist Max J. Hausgnost to the arte Hotel Krems for a vernissage!
Max Hausgnost is a student at HLF Krems and a passionate painter. In his work, he tries to reflect on grievances within himself and to reduce the resulting work to what is necessary. Viewers should enter a meditative state in which the painting acts like a mirror and addresses fundamental questions about their existence. The heavy oil paintings are based on fundamental principles and thoughts. The naked figure as a bridge to the inner self. Painted entirely without sanctity or sensuality, it is intended to act like a mirror. “I don’t want to hold up a mirror to society, but to everyone themselves.”</p
Max J. Hausgnost was born in 2007 in the Weinviertel region. He has been constantly developing his young work there ever since.</p
