St Charles’ Church

St Charles’ Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna’s 4th district of Wieden. It is located on the south side of Karlsplatz, close to the city centre, and is one of the most important baroque church buildings north of the Alps and one of Vienna’s landmarks. Since Karlsplatz was restored as an ensemble at the end of the 1980s, the Karlskirche has not only made an impact with its dome and the two flanking relief columns, but also as an architectural counterweight to the buildings of the Musikverein and the Technical University.

The oldest Haflinger stud farm in the world, the Fohlenhof Ebbs, is located directly in extensive meadows with a view of the imposing Zahmer Kaiser. Mariahilfer Strasse
