Get the pumpkins ready , because on 31 October 2024 it’s finally time again: The Böser Kater Halloween night turns our arte Hotel into the spookiest place in Salzburg for one night. This year we have come up with some little specials. There will be trick-or-treat for all our guests at our Halloween wheel of fortune, and of course there will be our Halloween competition on Instagram again. But that’s not all: our hu:goes 14 artists are already working on a spooky drink that will be available exclusively and only on this evening.

We also need you to be artsy! We look forward to seeing you in your scariest, most imaginative and funniest costumes. Whether you come as a scary zombie, a glowing pumpkin, a dusty mummy or David Hasselhoff, the more creative the better. The best costume of the evening will receive a small gift from us just in time for the witching hour! Because as true connoisseurs of art, we believe that creativity should always be rewarded.

But what’s this “Böser Kater” all about? Kater Rüdiger loves Halloween and has therefore decided to support us at our party this year. You can expect handmade spirits from the Edelobstbrennerei Schleihauf. Whether you opt for the “Heiße Mieze” or prefer the “Rumbazamba” is of course up to you. With every drink sold, we help Kater Rüdiger on his mission to support cat protection. Part of the proceeds go to street cats in need of veterinary care and placement in a safe home.

The best Halloween hits will be provided by our Ghostbuster DJ Sticky in person! He will make the turntables glow and provide you with the best Halloween hits from “Thriller”, “Vampire” to “Somebody’s watching me”. He regularly presents his skills and passion for classics together with greats from the scene such as DJ Premier, Stereo MCs, Texta and BBOU – to name but a few. His impulsive DJ sets, surrounded by a celebrating party community, have already taken him far beyond Austria’s borders. So get ready to rock the dance floor with us and experience a night full of dancing, fun and spooky vibes.
