The fictional character Gigi La Pajette was born on a fun night out in Hamburg in 2013. What started out as fun among friends has now become a career. The Carinthian-born artist had her first event in Salzburg in 2017 at the “Long Night of Diversity”. Gigi is considered one of the personalities in Salzburg who has attracted attention with drag shows.

Madame Pajette doesn’t take everything, or even herself, too seriously. She endeavours to steal the seriousness of life from the audience for an evening. She wants to give people an escape from everyday life and, at best, elicit a hearty laugh from them. The Salzburg-based queen now works full-time as a drag artist. Her events range from bingo evenings, karaoke, silent discos and brunches to the theatre stage. Together with three other, ever-changing divas, she delights guests in our hu:goes 14 rooftop bar with her event series “Gigi La Pajette’s Brunching Divas”.

The event is characterised by sharp-tongued humour, musical performances, a delicious breakfast and plenty of glitz and glamour. The queens give each other a run for their money and one thigh-slapper follows the next. But there is also plenty of depth, as the artists address social grievances in their performances and provide insights into their inner lives through captivating stories.

This will give you an insight into the real-life stories of the two queens. There will also be plenty of interaction, as the audience will have the opportunity to ask the two queens questions. After all, the two are actually quite different from what you might think – they just don’t get round to showing it often enough.
